Michael has been working in the energy industry for over five years and has been contributing his expertise and creativity to evety since July 2023. Here he accompanies and leads projects in the field of municipal heat planning and heat strategy. He has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a master's degree in process engineering. After completing his studies, he worked at the Institute for Techno-Economic Systems Analysis at the Jülich Research Center. There he worked on cost-effective CO2 reduction strategies for the glass industry and the conception and modeling of hydrogen supply chains. His methodological focus included technology assessment and techno-economic analyses, modeling and MILP optimization, GIS analyses as well as software development and data analysis with Python.
